Copra Kozhikode spurts on rising demand, ginger drops
Mumbai, Feb 4 (PTI) Copra Kozhikode continues to maintainits uptrend at the spices market here today backed by strongbuying from stockists and bulk traders amidst consistentdemand from millers.
Meanwhile, both the ginger varieties slipped owing toreduced domestic as well as export demand.
Other spices closed stable in the absence of necessarybuying support.
Copra office Kozhikode rose by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs6,600 from Thursday''s closing level of Rs 6,500.
However, ginger bleached and unbleached fell by Rs 11 perkilo each to Rs 190 and Rs 220 respectively, as compared toRs 201 and Rs 231 yesterday.
