Abducted businessman returns safe

Kohima, Feb 04 (PTI) A businessman, who was abducted byunidentified miscreants three days ago from Dimapur, returnedhome unharmed, police said today.

Sudep Das was kidnapped from his house by unidentifiedgunmen on Monday night and remained traceless till his returnlast night.

Police suspected that family members of the printingpress owner might have paid ransom to get his release.

Investigation is on.

Earlier yesterday, Nagaland Home Minister Imkong Imchentold reporters that all unlawful activities such as extortionsand abductions would be dealt with a firm hand. PTI AP PR
