11-yr bravery awardee felicitated in Sikkim

Gangtok, Feb 4 (PTI) Eleven year old, Bibek Sharma, whowas recently conferred the national bravery awards during theRepublic Day was today felicitated by his school Principal,teachers and his friends here .

Bibek, who had saved the life of one physicallyhandicapped child 6 months before, expressed his happiness andshared his experience with the media today.

He said that he was very proud to receive an award fromthe head of the country and he would be very happy if he wouldget a chance to do noble work in future.

He asked the younger generation to serve others, so thatthey can also make themselves proud.

Principal of Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Vidya Mandir OmPradhan also appreciated the work done by her student to makeher school proud.

�Bibek is one of my best student, as he had followed ourschool�s motto of self service�, so the entire school is veryhappy for his great work, she said. PTI COR
