Unique residential complex planned to be built on EM Bypass

Kolkata, Feb 2 (PTI) A luxury residential condominium,christened ''Atmosphere'', comprising two tall towers with asuspended club hanging between them at a height of 500 feet isplanned to be erected on the city''s eastern outskirts.

The project has been claimed by its promoters, thecity-based Forum Group, to be the first of its kind in thecountry. It would come up on the city''s Eastern MetropolitanBypass which is fast emerging as a fashionable address.

Forum Group managing director Rahul Saraf said here todaythat after its IT-park project ''Technopolis'' in Salt Lake,which had been recognised as the first commercial buildingrecognised by the UN as eligible for carbon credits'', thisproject will be a large luxury residential condominium in thecity.

He said that construction of the ambitious project,spanning more than 320 feet in width with 55,000 sqft inusable space, is scheduled to start by March and would takeabout 30 months to complete at an estimated investment of Rs500 crore with Australian know-how.

According to him, this will be a landmark building in thecity.
