Select copra spurts on steady demand

Mumbai, Feb 3 (PTI) Copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikodeprices continued to surge at the spices market here today dueto consistent buying by stockists and retailers amidst firmexport demand.

Meanwhile, rest of the spices closed steady in theabsence of necessary buying support.

Copra office Alapuzha rose by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs6,700 from Wednesday''s closing level of Rs 6,600 and copraoffice Kozhikode gained by Rs 75 per quintal to Rs 6,500as compared to Rs 6,425 yesterday.
