Lakhs stolen from a house in west Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 2 (PTI) Unidentified men struck at thewest Delhi residence of a manager working with Kotak Mahindraand fled with lakhs of rupees, police said today.
The incident took place in Janakpuri and the victimhas been identified as Bhupinder Singh.
According to Singh, police said, his wife ParamjeetKaur was sleeping with their nine-month-old child in theirbedroom when the incident took place.
"The domestic help had gone out to buy milk using theback door of the house. She had left the door open and thethieves apparently entered through it. They stole the moneykept in the almirah," a senior police official said.
A case has been registered.
