Karna budget session from February 24
Bangalore, Feb 3 (PTI) The budget session of the Karnatakalegislature will begin from February 24.
Chief Minister and Finance Minister B S Yeddyurappa wouldpresent the 2011-12 budget proposals in the assembly on theopening day, as per the decision of the cabinet meeting heldhere today.
"We hope to conduct 15 working day session", Minister forHigher Education Dr V S Acharya told the press obviouslyapprehending disruption of proceedings from opposition whichhave been demanding the resignation of Yeddyurappa overallegations of corruption.
The session called last month had to be abruptly endedafter Congress and JDS combine paralysed it over their demandfor Yeddyurappa government resignation.
This will be the fourth budget being presented byYeddyurappa after BJP government came to power in 2008. PTIMSR RC
