Fire in petrol retail outlet

Erode, Feb 3 (PTI) A fire broke out at a petrol and dieseloutlet in Perundurai while it was unloading from a tankerlorry today, police said.

However there was no casualty or injury to anybody, policesaid.

The lorry was completely gutted in the fire.

A vehicle parked in the areas and two huts nearby werealso gutted in the fire.

Police said the tanker lorry carried more than 5,000litres of petrol and 15,000 literes of diesel.

Fire and rescue services doused the fire within two hours,police said.
