AP IT dept to undertake roadshow in Bengaluru to woo investors

Hyderabad, Feb 2 (PTI) In a bid to woo investors fromKarnataka, the Information Technology department of AndhraPradesh, will undertake a roadshow in Bengaluru to showcasethe State as an investment destination.

According to K Ratna Prabha, principal secretary, IT&C,AP, the roadshow would be organised on February 4 and PonnalaLakshmaih, AP Minister for IT will also participate.

Apart from the officials of Andhra Pradesh, seniorofficials of Karnataka will also attend the roadshow of''Advantage AP 2011 � The Most Preferred IT Destination'', RatnaPrabha said.

The objective of ''Advantage AP 2011'' is to provide aforum for IT & ITES companies, academic institutions,governments, end-customers of various Industries, tocollaborate and leverage the enabling environment that AP haswith focus on promotion of small and medium enterprises byproviding an international platform for their growth andpromotion of tier-II/III locations in the state to spread thebenefits of IT to the nook and corner of the state, theofficial said.

Advantage AP-2011 will be organized by the IT&Cdepartment of AP in association with the IT & ITES IndustryAssociation of AP (ITsAP) and Software Technology Parks ofIndia from March 1-2 at Hyderabad International ConventionCentre, Prabhu added.
