Air Chief inaugurates traffic awareness exhibition by cartoonist Tendulkar
New Delhi, Feb 3 (ANI): The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal P. V. Naik inaugurated an exhibition of cartoons by eminent artist Mangesh Tendulkar aimed at creating traffic awareness amongst school children at the Air Force Bal Bharti School (AFBBS) here on Thursday.
He also released a book 'Sixty years of space exploration' by former Director of ISRO, Professor Suresh Naik.
The exhibition will empower children with comprehensive awareness on safe traffic discipline. The cartoons by Pune-based cartoonist are being used in the booklet published by Delhi Police for creating awareness on safe driving.
"Cartoons can capture thoughts and expressions that are impossible to put in words," explained Tendulkar.
Children from various schools will be witnessing the exhibits at AFBBS in next three days. (ANI)
