SSWL bags Rs 190-cr order from Renault Russia

Mumbai, Feb 1 (PTI) Auto components manufacturer SteelStrips and Wheels Limited (SSWL) today said that it has baggedexport orders worth Rs 190-crore from French car-makerRenault.

As per the agreement, SSWL will supply 20,000 wheels permonth to Renault, that is all set to launch a new vehicle fromits manufacturing unit in Russia by end this year, the companysaid in a statement here today.

The total supply of wheels in the next five years wouldbe around 1.2 million, that would generate a foreign exchangeof around Rs 190-crore approximately, the statement added. PTIPP AP VKV
