RCF hands over Rs 1 cr cheque for develpt work

Madurai, Feb 1 (PTI): Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertiliserstoday handed over a cheque for Rs 1.25 crore to the Districtcollector in the presence of Union Chemicals and Fertilisersminister M K Alagiri to undertake some development work anddistribute welfare measures in Madurai Rural area.

Collector C Kamaraj said Rs 90 lakh would be used toconstruct Bus shelters at 12 places in rural areas and anotherRs 18 lakh to build bus shelters in the city. Besides 15persons would be given Tri-cycles or three-wheelers.

The cheque was handed over at the residence of the Minister.

RCF chairman Rajan handed over the check to the districtcollector.
