MNS chief releases handbook on railway recruitment

Mumbai, Feb 2 (PTI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS)President Raj Thackeray today released a handbook on railwayrecruitment examination, targeted at Marathi youth.

At a state executive meeting of MNS here, Rajgave copies of the handbook to party activists, to bedistributed among railway job aspirants in the state.

"We fight to get priority for the sons of soil inrailway recruitment. But our youth are not much aware aboutthe recruitment process," Raj said.

The handbook contains information on how to fill upthe form, where to submit it, documents to be attached,qualifications needed, etc.

"Locals should appear for railway exams, and increasethe number of Maharashtrians in the Railways," Raj said.

In 2008, MNS activists had assaulted north Indiancandidates appearing for the railway recruitment exam inneighbouring Kalyan. PTI SSGKRK
