Medium sugar recovers on good retail buying

Mumbai, Feb 2 (PTI) Medium sugar prices recoveredmoderately at the Vashi Wholesale market here today due tofresh buying from retailers amidst festive offtake.

Meanwhile, small sugar variety maintained the mixedpattern of trading.

Medium sugar quality (M-30) rose by Rs 6/20 per quintalto Rs 2,872/2,951 from overnight closing level of Rs 2,866/2,931.

Small sugar quality (S-30) were quoted at Rs 2,836/2,881per quintal as compared to Rs 2,841/2,875 yesterday.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,836/2,881 (Rs 2,841/2,875) and medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,872/2,951(Rs 2,866/2,931).
