Maruti's Kizashi hits Indian market @ Rs 16.5 lakh

New Delhi, Feb 2: One of the biggest automobile company Maruti Suzuki launched its much awaited luxury sedan Kizashi in Indian market.

The new smart looking car Kizashi is available at Rs 16.5 lakh only and this launch created a niche for Maruti Suzuki as it marked entry of the company in the premium luxury sedan segment.

The car would be available in two variants:

The manual transmission variant will cost Rs 16.5 lakh and the automatic transmission version has been priced higher at Rs 17.5 lakh in Delhi.

According the company spokesperson, "It is manufactured at Suzuki Motor Corporation's Sagara plant in Japan and will be imported into India as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU). After its launch in Japan in late 2009, the Kizashi was introduced in the US."
