Man rapes girl, attacks her with blade

Aurangabad, Feb 1 (PTI) A man allegedly raped a younggirl near here and later caused injuries to her private partswith a blade, police sources said today.

A 28-year-old woman, who allegedly helped the accused,Sampat More, in committing the crime, has been arrested, theysaid.

The woman, Suman Ashok Mali, took the victim to Lasurvillage on the pretext of visiting a temple. She handed overthe girl to More, who took her to another village and rapedfor three days and later attacked her with a blade, injuringthe victim''s private parts, the sources said.

The incident came to light yesterday, they said,adding the main accused is absconding.
