House break-in at East Patel Nagar

New Delhi, Feb 1 (PTI) Unidentified men broke intothe house of a garment manufacturer today and decamped withcash and jewellery worth Rs 12 lakh, police said.

The incident took place in East Patel Nagar and thevictim has been identified as Sandeep Wadhwa, who had gone outwith his family.

The theft came to light when his neighbour found thathis house was locked from outside. "He called someone tounlock his house. When he came out, he saw the front door ofWadhwa''s house ajar," a senior police official said.

In the meantime, Wadhwa also returned and found thathis house was ransacked.

Wadhwa claimed that cash and jewellery worth Rs 12lakh were stolen.
