Father,son commit suicide
Bolangir (Orissa), Feb 2 (PTI) Apparently driven bypoverty, a daily wage earner and his son allegedly committedsuicide by consuming pesticide in Orissa''s Bolangir district,police said today.
Sridhar Naik (40) and his 18-year-old son Rohitcommitted suicide in their house at Bhikabahali, about 55 kmfrom here, last evening, they said.
The villagers informed the police about the incidentafter the bodies were found.
Srikanta Mishra, Additional Superintendent of Police,said the actual cause of the alleged suicide was yet to beestablished, but poverty was believed to be the reason. PTICOR SKN PR
