Smooth budget session only if JPC demand in fulfilled : Naidu

Guwahati, Jan 31 (PTI) BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu todaysaid a smooth budget session in Lok Sabha will be ensured onlyif the Centre conceded to his party''s demand for a JPC toprobe the 2G spectrum scandal.

Naidu, who was speaking to the press, alleged that theCentre was involved in large scale corruption and there was noaccountability.

"The CBI has been politicalised and this practice has tobe stopped as it is the apex investigating agency," he said.

Referring to Assam, where state assembly polls areslated for later this year, he said the mood of its people isto vote for a change and hoped that BJP will fair well in it.

"Infiltration and corruption will be the twin plank forthe BJP in the Assam polls," he said.

"There has been large scale corruption in everygovernment department including the North Cachar Hillsautonomous council and infiltration is on the rise. We willraise the issue during election," Naidu said.
