Revenue official killed over property dispute

Lucknow, Jan 31 (PTI) A revenue department officialwas allegedly killed over property dispute and his body dumpedin a canal in Unnao district, police said today.

Rupchand Kushwaha, who was posted as Lekhpal, wentmissing from his house in Methi Tukur village on January 22after which a report was lodged by his family, they said.

According to police, Kushawaha''s body was recoveredfrom a canal in Ajgai area late last night and on the basis ofa complaint a named FIR was lodged against two persons Rameshand Nafees.

Ramesh was arrested today, who revealed that Kushwahawas having land dispute with Nafees.
