Emergency lab inaugurated in IGH

Rourkela, Feb 1 (PTI) To serve the critically illpatients at odd hours in the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) runIspat General Hospital (IGH) here, an Emergency Laboratory wasinaugurated by the Managing Director of the RSP, S N Singhhere today.

The Emergency Laboratory has been set up to cater tothe most critically ill patients during odd hours from asingle window. Emergency Lab will cater to the urgent needs,particularly those admitted in the ICU and ensure on the spotand quick service which will enhance patient care and customersatisfaction to a significant extent.

Singh soon after the inauguration, visited thelaboratory and ascertained the facilities available in it. Healso interacted with the doctors and the staff members andadvised them on how to effectively utilise the laboratory inenhancing patient care in presence of Director, Medical andhealth services, Dr. S.K.Mishra.
