Couple commit suicide in Nashik

Nashik, Jan 31 (PTI) A young couple allegedly committedsuicide by jumping in front of a train near Devlali camprailway station here, police said today.

The victims identified as Sagar Thorat (21) and Leenaalias Manasi Khajekar (25), who was married and had a daughteraged over two years, had been missing from their native placeKolpewadi in Kopergaon taluka of Ahmednagar district sinceJanuary 27, they said.

The duo, who were living in a rented hotel in Nashik Roadalong with Leena''s daughter Manisha, ended their livesyesterday, while leaving the girl at the hotel room, policesaid.

A note was found with Sagar, which helped in revealingtheir identity, they said.
