Clear nexus between Trinamool and Maoists: Biman

Kolkata, Jan 31 (PTI) The CPI(M) today said the arrest oftwo Maoists from a relief camp run by the Trinamool Congressin Midnapore town was indicative of its "clear nexus" with theultras.

"Two persons have been arrested and both of them areaccused of launching an armed attack on the Eastern FrontierRifles personnel at their Silda camp," CPI(M) state secretaryBiman Bose said in a statement here.

Bose wondered how Trinamool Congress would now "disown"its connection with the Maoists.

"There is a clear nexus between Trinamool Congress andthe Maoists," he alleged.
