Good response to Multi media exhibition, says Collector
Erode, Jan 31 (PTI): More than 50,000 people had visited the10-day Multi Media exhibition in the city, organised by PublicRelation Department,where people were told of various servicesoffered by the government, according to District Collector TSoundiah.
He said all Government departments had put up separatepavilions. The Health department examined 3647 persons andprovided consultation for ailments. The Siddha Unit gave freemedicines and Herbal juice to visitors, he told reporters hereyesterday.
The mini-Uzhavar shandy (Farmers market) saw sales of Rs3.05 lakh worth of vegetables, while the police departmentplaced various types of firearms and provided tips on saferiding to motorists.
