CM''s son-in-law''s complaint to be heard on February 4
Bangalore, Jan 31 (PTI): The Lokayukta court today postedto February four,further hearing of two appplications filed byChief Minister B S Yeddyurappa''s son-in-law in connection witha private complaint against him for his alleged involvement ina land scam.
Sohan Kumar, impleaded as fourth accused in a batch ofprivate complaints filed by two city-based lawyers againstYeddyurappa and his family, including his two sons, filed twoapplications before the 23rd Additional City Civil andSessions Judge and Special Judge C B Hipparagi last week.
The first application seeks a stay on all proceedings sincea Lokayukta enquiry is already on into the alleged scam.
The second application seeks impleading of JDS statepresident H D Kumaraswamy since one of the landdenotifications was carried out when he was Chief Minister.
When the two applications came up for hearing, counselfor the two complainants, C H Hanumanthraya filed hisobjections to them.
The court then posted the hearing to February four.Hearingon the three other complaints filed against Yeddyurappa, hissons B Y Ragahavendra and B Y Vijayendra will be heard onthree succeessive days from tomorrow.
Five private complaints were filed by the two advocates onJan 22 and 24 against Yeddyurappa and his family afterGovernor H R Bhardwaj gave sanction for prosecution of theChief Minister in alleged land scams.
