Zilla parishad member lodges FIR against RS MP

Gumla (Jharkhand), Jan 29 (PTI) A Gumla Zilla Parishadmember has lodged an FIR against Congress leader and RajyaSabha member M Ribello accusing her of abducting himto prevent him from voting in Zill Parishad election,

Superintendent of Police N K Singh said Gumla ZillaParishad member George Kerketa yesterday lodged an FIR againstCongress MP M Ribello and two others accusing them ofabducting him on the January 20 to prevent him from votingduring the election of the deputy chairmanship of the Zillaparishad.

Kerketa further alleged that he was let off only afterthe polling time was over.

Ribello represents the Upper House from Jharkhand.
