PMK to be part of DMK alliance

New Delhi, Jan 30 (PTI) With elections to the Tamil Naduassembly round the corner, DMK chief M Karunanidhi todayannounced that PMK will be part of the DMK-led alliance in thestate.

Karunanidhi, who arrived here this evening, said he wouldmeet Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime MinisterManmohan Singh tomorrow to discuss the seat-sharingarrangement between Congress and DMK.

"PMK, Muslim League, VCK will be in the alliance otherthan Congress and DMK," the chief minister told reporters atTamil Nadu house here.

He said he will discuss the number of seats to becontested by both the parties in the elections due in Mayduring his meeting with Congress President and the PrimeMinister.

When asked whether the seat sharing talks would becompleted during his stay in the capital, he said, "I cannotsay that.
