Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali lauds Bihar chief minister
Patna, Jan 30 (PTI) Noted Pakistani ghazal singerGhulam Ali today lauded Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar forhis efforts towards development and improving the state''s lawand order situation during the NDA rule since 2005.
"Bihar was undergoing transformation under the ableleadership of Kumar visible in development works around," Alisaid during half-an-hour meeting with Kumar at his officialresidence here.
The popular Pakistani singer, who was here to performat a cultural programme, lavished praise on the people ofBihar for their keen interest in music, particularly ghazals.
The chief minister thanked Ali for his visit to thestate and informed the latter that the state government wasconstructing a 5000-seat capacity auditorium to provide aplatform to cultural activities, according to an officialstatement.
