Ahmedabad, Jan 30: It seem that the social networking site Twitter becomes a new weapon for all politicians, especially for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders.

Recently, Sushma Swaraj became the talk of the town with her Live tweeting about their "Ekat Yatra" to Jammu.

Now, this time Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi follows Sushma's path as Modi started tweeting from his personal Twitter account.

On Sunday, Jan 30, Modi paid tribute to the father of the nation - Mahatma Gandhi on Martyr's Day.

In 1948, Gandhi was assassinated on Jan 30 and India observes the day in memory of his martyrdom and of all those who gave up their lives for their country.
