Never made connection between coalition

Aurangabad (Maha), Jan 29 (PTI) Congress leader RahulGandhi today made it clear that he never made any connectionbetween coalition politics and price rise.

"One last thing I would like to say, about the pricerise comment. That was a complete misquote. I never made theconnection between coalition and price rise," Rahul toldreporters here.

"I don''t think coalition politics forces you. Coalitionpolitics sometimes make things more complicated. But if yourintention is correct and your focus is on the right thing andon the right area and if you are thinking about long termchange, then it is possibly manageable within the coalitionframework. There is no problem with that," he said.

To a query on his party fielding him as prime ministerin next polls, Gandhi said, "This is your assumption, notmine (assumption). My assumption and my work is to repair thepolitical system." PTI VT DK
