Four killed in road accident in Beed

Beed(Maha), Jan 30 (PTI) Four persons were killed and 25others injured when a bus and a container had a head-oncollision on the Beed-Aurangabad road here today, police said.

Seven of the 25 injured, who have been admitted to alocal hospital, are in critical condition, they said.

The incident occurred while the bus, which was comingfrom Lonar collided with a container, that was on its way toAurangabad, police said adding that four passengers travellingin the bus were killed on the spot.

Three of the deceased have been identified as NarhariRamchandra Joshi (67), Parvati Narhari Joshi (65), and RustumBodve(65), while the identity of a woman victim is still notknown, police said.

Drivers of both the vehicles have been booked and furtherinvestigations are underway, they added.
