BJP waiting for facts on recovery of foreign currency from

Ranchi, Jan 29 (PTI) BJP will wait till all facts andinformation on the recovery of foreign currency of Rs 7 crorefrom offices of a trust backed by Tibetan spiritual leaderKarmapa Ugyen Trinley Dorje who investigators suspect havelinks with Chinese authorities, is revealed.

''''But we expect that the government will look intoeverything - if there is any role of China and if there is,then what is it,'''' the Leader of the Opposition in Rajya SabhaArun Jaitley said today.

''''The issue is in the interest of the country and not ofany party,'''' he told a press conference here.

Searches at the offices of Karma Garchen Trust have sofar led to the seizure of Rs seven crore in currencies of overtwo dozen countries, including China, Taiwan, Japan, SouthKorea, the UK, the US, Australia and Germany.
