Apple iPad starts sale in India

New Delhi, Jan 28: All movie buffs awaits a movie releases on Friday, but this Friday is something special, even gadget lovers can rejoice. Yes, the US company Apple finally launched its iPad in India on Jan 28. Now, the dreamt tablet is in a grasp. Visit the nearest retailer or iStore and pick up the tabled device you've always wanted.

The Apple iPad went on sale in US nine months ago, within a short span, it has sold nearly 15 million iPad units.

The Apple iPad is available in India at the starting price of Rs 27,990. The iPad will be available in Wi-Fi and 3G+Wi-Fi versions, each with three capacities 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The 3G+Wi-Fi version costs Rs 34,900-44,900.

The iPad's revolutionary multi-touch user interface enables users to browse the web, read and send email, enjoy and share photos, watch HD videos, listen to music, play games, read ebooks and lot more.

The state owned service provider BSNL has also announced the post-paid and pre-paid iPad 3G data plans at Rs 999 for unlimited usage.
