Tata Power crosses one-lakh consumer mark in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jan 27 (PTI) Tata Power today said that itsretail consumer base in Mumbai has crossed one-lakh mark inthe last one year.
In November 2009, when the company started its retailexpansion in Mumbai, it already had 26,000 direct consumers.
However, within a year, its retail consumer base rose toone-lakh, a press release issued here today said.
TPC''s consumer mix at present comprises of 78 per centresidential, five per cent industrial and 17 per centcommercial.
The consumption of residential group is expected todouble in the next fiscal (FY12), the release said.
"The last one year has seen a heartening response fromthe consumers of Mumbai and this further reiterates theirtrust in a company that has served them for almost a centurynow," the company''s Managing Director, Prasad Menon, said. PTIPSKVKV
