Salesman in dock after woman claims yogurt sample tasted of semen
Melbourne, Jan 28 (ANI): A supermarket worker in the US has been accused by a woman of handing out a yogurt sample contaminated with semen.
Detectives said that the woman, who was shopping at Sunflower Market on Corrales Rd and Alameda, tried a free yogurt sample, but when she found it tasted like sperm, she spat it out.
The woman reported the matter to the management and then called police.
Investigators questioned the male employee who was handing out the free samples but said they could not charge him until after tests prove it was semen.
"We found where she basically spit out the possible evidence. As far back as I can remember this is the first time that we've ever dealt with this," News.com.au quoted Sergeant Trish Hoffman as saying.
According to FoxToldeo.com, the Albuquerque Police Department is investigating whether the woman's claims can be substantiated, but the employee has been arrested because he was a wanted man.
Salesman Anthony Garcia, 31, had two outstanding bench warrants. One was filed in December for failure to appear for an arraignment. The charges on the case included two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor. (ANI)
