PVR partners with Rakeysh Mehra, Dibakar Banerjee, Pandey

Mumbai, Jan 27 (PTI) PVR Pictures has partnered with someprominent Bollywood directors including Rakeysh OmprakashMehra, Dibakar Banerjee and Neeraj Pandey to co-produce anddistribute films.

PVR will co-produce Mehra�s "Teen Thay Bhai", DibakarBanerjee''s "Shanghai" and Neeraj Pandey''s yet untitled film.

Kamal Gianchandani, President PVR Pictures, said, "Mehra,Dibakar and Neeraj have created their own niche in theindustry, raising the bar for Indian cinema."

The first in line to be released is Rakeysh OmprakashMehra Production''s Teen Thay Bhai, directed by debutanteMrighdeep Lambha. A comedy, it will be released on April 1.

Dibakar Banerjee''s thriller, Shanghai, which stars EmraanHashmi and Abhay Deol, is set in a political background, hesaid.

Niraj Pandey''s next venture after his National Awardwinning film A Wednesday'', is currently in thestory-development stage, Gianchandani said.
