Oil and sand mafia are ruling Maharashtra: Munde

Beed, Jan 27 (PTI) Oil and sand Mafia have spread theirtentacles all over Maharashtra and government officers are notsecure, senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde said here today.

Addressing a press conference, he said that mafia arethreatening the government officers everywhere.

In Beed, Additional collector Arun Unhale had beenthreatened by an MLA but state government took no action,Munde alleged.

"There is a need to give protection to officers. If goonsand Ministers are working together, whom should officers askfor justice?" Munde said, referring to Additional CollectorYashwant Sonawane''s murder two days ago.
