NYFA to conduct film-making workshop in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jan 27 (PTI) The New York Film Academy (NYFA), incollaboration with film production company Yellow SubmarineFilm Ltd, will conduct a film-making workshop in the city fromMay this year.
"We have been successfully running workshops in over ninecountries of the world in over 16 locations. Our faculty hasbeen travelling to various parts of the world imparting thebest in class film training with the latest cameras and filmequipment," NYFA Director Jerry Sherlock said.
The four-week long workshop will be conducted with an aimto teach students film-making by expert award winningfaculties, using professional equipments.
Classes will be conducted in directing, writing, editing,cinematography, production, covering the creative andtechnical demands of telling a story with moving images. Eachweek all the students'' films are screened in class with theinstructor, Sherlock said.
The workshop will be conducted at Lilavatibai PodarSenior Secondary School in suburban Santacruz from May 2.
"Several students attend classes in The New York FilmAcademy every year from India. Each student will receive adiploma at the end of the programme," Yellow Submarine FilmPvt Ltd, Director, Suniti Ghoshal said.
