Hooda ministry to be expanded tomorrow

Chandigarh, Jan 27 (PTI) Haryana Chief MinisterBhupinder Singh Hooda will expand his 15-month-old Council ofMinisters here tomorrow.

The expansion will take place on Friday evening, anofficial spokesman told PTI here this evening.

The number and names of ministers to be sworn in isyet to be finalized, he said.

The present strength of the ministry is 10, includingthe Chief Minister, six Cabinet and three Ministers of State.

The 90-seat state Assembly can have a 14-member Council ofMinisters and Hooda can induct four more ministers.

Hooda had taken over as Chief Minister on October 25,2009 for the second time after the Congress emerged as thesingle largest party winning 40 out of the 90 assembly seatsin the state.
