Festival for specially- abled in Chennai

Chennai, Jan 28 (ANI): In an attempt to motivate specially-abled children, a cultural programme-cum-competition was organised here on Thursday.

About 450 physically and mentally challenged children, both boys and girls, participated in different competitions.

"The aim of conducting this programme is to motive the challenged children and tell them that they are also equal to normal people," said Arjun, organiser of the programme.

Elated children were seen blowing up balloons, eating bananas and performing various acts.

The events included dancing, singing, plantation programme, fancy dress, painting, and drawing competition. (ANI)
