Cisco to acquire Pari Networks

Hyderabad, Jan 27 (PTI) Global Networking leader Ciscotoday announced its intent to acquire privately-held PariNetworks, provider of network configuration and changemanagement and compliance management solutions for anundisclosed amount.

Based in Milpitas, California, with part of its employeebase in Hyderabad, Pari Networks'' technology will integrateinto Cisco''s smart services and help accelerate the ability ofCisco and its partners to manage the health and stability ofcustomer networks through proactive, personalised services,Cisco said in a statement.

The acquisition is subject to various standard closingconditions and is expected to be complete in the third quarterof Cisco''s fiscal year 2011
