Traffic constable killed in accident

Kanpur, Jan 27 (PTI) A traffic constable today died afterhis motorcycle was hit by a speeding vehicle at Kakadeo areahere, police said today.

Dinesh Kumar, a resident of Gorakhpur, was on his wayhome when an unknown vehicle hit his bike throwing him at somedistance where he succumbed to his injuries, they said,

The Kakadeo police has not been able to trace the vehicleyet, they said.

It the second incident in a month when a policeman hasdied in such circumstances. Earlier, on January 13, apoliceman died on-duty at Ghantaghar area after being hit by atruck.
