Tiranga yatra spell continues; BJP workers held

Jammu, Jan 27: The Ekta Yatra by BJP is "officially over" but its spell is still continuing. Jammu Kashmir police arrested thirteen BJYM workers on Thursday, Jan 27 in the city.

Following the attack on the car of Finance Minister of the state Abdul Rahim Rather, police detained the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists.

According the sources, soon after senior BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Ananth Kumar hoisted the national flag at Kathua in Jammu on Jan 26, some BJP workers attacked the minister.

However, the minister managed to escape unhurt from the place and stated, "It is a minor incident. They did not attack me."
