I-T raid: Tollywood item girl joins Kat-Priyanka

Hyderabad, Jan 27: Bollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif recently experienced the hazards of Income tax officers' rack. Now, a Tollywood actress joined them as sources confirmed another I-T raid in the Tollywood actress' residence.

Though the I-T officials have not revealed the name of the actress yet, rumours stated that the industry newcomers comprise the bulk of individuals availing tax benefits by misusing certain clauses of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (under Section 80 RR).

According the above mentioned Act, "professional artistes" performing abroad enjoy tax concessions for "showcasing Indian culture abroad.

However, in the recent raids in the Bollywood actress' houses, it has been revealed that Katrina has unaccounted wealth of around Rs 6 crore in the form of jewellery, property and business ventures.

And the "desi girl" Priyanka owns nine flats in Mumbai and five flats at Raj Classic in Versova and a penthouse and three flats, which she gives out for rent.
