ISO certification for medical colleges in Bihar
Patna, Jan 27 (PTI) The Bihar government today said theyare trying to obtain ISO certification for all medicalcolleges and hospitals in the state to ensure quality.
"Sincere efforts are being made for ensuring qualityfacilities and services at all the six medical colleges andhospitals in Bihar to obtain ISO certification," state healthdepartment''s principal secretary Marjit Sinha told reporters.
For ensuring quality in service and facilities, a studywas underway and it was expected that the study report wouldbe available within two to three months, he said.
"We are also trying to secure the National AccreditationBoard of Hospital recognition for all the six medical collegesin Patna, Gaya, Darbhanga, and Bhagalpur," he said.
The state government had evolved an action plan forstrengthening the health centres at block levels.
