Fire in Pune building

Pune, Jan 27 (PTI) A major fire broke out today in amulti-storeyed in a commercial complex here on arterialSenapati Bapat road, fire brigade said.

The incident took place this morning and gutted the entirefourth floor of the complex. There were no casualties in themishap that destroyed many software company offices located inthe building.

The blaze was brought under control after two hours, firebrigade said, adding there were no occupants inside when itengulfed the structure.

A short circuit in the system could have set off thefire, it was stated.
