Eight killed in road mishap
Churu, Jan 27 (PTI) Eight persons were killed when apassenger jeep in which they were travelling rammed into astationary truck in Rajasthan''s Churu district last night.
The mishap occurred when the jeep was on its way toSardarshahar from Taranagar, police said today.
The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital wherePappu (22), Raju (22) and Man Singh (25) were declared broughtdead.
Five others succumbed to their injuries in thehospital. They have been identified as Sant Ram (45), Surendra(32), Kana Devi (65), Devi Dutt (70) and Aslam (30) they said,adding the condition of an injured passenger was stated to becritical.
