Couple killed in road accident, 5 injured

Balasore (Orissa), Jan 27 (PTI) A couple from WestBengal were killed and five injured today when the bus inwhich they were traveling overturned on NH-60 in Orissa''sBalasore district.

According to police, a tourist bus carrying about 50passengers from West Midnapore district of West Bengal was onits way to Puri in Orissa when the mishap occurred nearNalabahar.

Preliminary reports suggested that the bus driverapparently lost control over the vehicle due to dense fog andpoor visibility in the wee hours leading to the accident.

The deceased have been identified as Sudarsan Dey (58)and his wife Gayatri Dey (50), police said adding that theinjured were being treated in a hospital at Basta.
