CAU convocation on Feb one

Imphal, Jan 27 (PTI) The Central Agricultural University(CAU) here will organise its second convocation on Februaryone next when graduation and post-graduation degrees would behanded over to 537 students.

A CAU statement today said the university held the 5thposition in the country so far as the all India combinedexamination of ICAR (Indian Council of AgriculturalResearch) JRF (Junior Research Fellow) was concerned.

The university''s mission is to make it a centre ofexcellence in teaching, research and extension education inthe field of agriculture and allied sceinces.

It would also develop sustainable and profitablefarming system for improving productivity in the sector. PTITP PR
