Singh condemns Moscow attack
New Delhi, Jan 25 (PTI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singhtoday condemned the terrorist attack at Moscow Airport, whichleft 35 persons killed and 178 injured yesterday and stressedthe need for the two countries to work together to combat the"evil forces of violence and extremism".
In a message to Russian President Dimitry A Medvedev,Singh also conveyed his condolences at the loss of lives inthe tragic incident while expressing his deep anguish andcondemnation of the terrorist attack.
Observing that "terrorism is a crime against humanityfor which there can never be any justification", the PrimeMinister stressed India and Russia must continue to worktogether to combat the evil forces of violence and extremism.
A suspected suicide bomber had triggered explosivesat Moscow''s busiest international airport yesterday killing atleast 35 people and leaving 178 injured. A suspected ''blackwidow'' is said to be behind the suicide blast.
